As it's name suggests, this is a modernised version of the iconic Buchla Music Easel. Featuring the 208C module, the NEW 218E keyboard plus the Electric Music Box I/O Module, housed in an in a very attractive portable, ABS case.

The new EMBIO module (Electric Music Box I/O) provides all the core connectivity for the Music Easel into a powerful 200E module space, providing all the connections for Power, USB MIDI, MIDI Mini-jack, Audio I/O, Mixing, an extra LFO, attenuverter AND CV and Gate into one convenient module.

Not only does this EMBIO module provide more functionality that previous Easel revisions, it also enhances the workflow when working with the instrument. This added space also means the system an be expanded with a 200e module or 2 x 200h series modules to further enhance the capabilities of the Easel. By default, the Easel is shipping with a blanking plate covering the module slot.
